Right now I am in the process of shaping it. I see it as something fluid that grows with me. I am drawn to contrast elegance and effortlessness. I do not want to define it too soon because I am still discovering what truly feels like me. Let’s just say I am in the sculpting phase.
What fashion eras or designers shape your aesthetic?I am deeply inspired by the era of Romanticism and Antiquity. I enjoy combining the rigid elegance of Romanticism with touches of Antiquity, occasionally blending in elements of boho glamour and Gothic sophistication.
How do you relate to the concept of fashion as art?
Absolutely YES! i believe that the person themselves is true art. When we choose our looks or style, we are not simply putting on clothes, we are expressing our inner “self” through them, like a canvas upon which our individuality is painted. Appearance is the first stroke that allows the world to see us, and it is often based on this that people form their first impressions. Clothing can be more than just fabric: it can convey philosophy, emotions, and aesthetics, almost like little works of art.
I do not think anything can truly be better because each concept holds its own creative value. But I have always been drawn to animalistic themes in photography. They inspire me and resonate on a deeper level. There is something powerful in how these visuals reflect raw instinct and strength. It feels honest and almost primal which is what I love most.
Have you ever had the chance to work with animals on set or is that something you’ve always dreamed of doing?
Actually my dream of working with animals came true recently. I had a shoot with horses and it turned out to be one of the most unforgettable moments of my journey so far. I felt inspired and completely present. I got really close to them, not just physically but emotionally too. There was one horse in particular I bonded with deeply. We shared a kind of silent understanding. I could read his energy, his reactions, even his calm. It was more than a shoot, it felt like a meeting of two worlds.
André Durst. I have always been drawn to his portraits from the 1900s. The way he photographed people felt honest. There is something about those images that makes you stop and really look. They feel like moments that were never trying too hard just people being completely themselves.
At the same time I would love to work with photographers like Juergen Teller and Steven Meisel. I like how different their visions are but both know how to create something strong and memorable. Their work always has personality and you can feel the energy behind the frame.
How do you usually prepare for a shoot or a show? To be honest I do not really prepare in the moment. My mission is to stay prepared in advance. Every day is a small step to get more and more ready so when the shoot comes I am already there.
Of course I always know the brand and the mood I am walking into. Once I am on set we sync with the team and shape it together. And if it is a brand with a deep story or strong identity I make sure to learn it. That part is non negotiable.
Planning. Because it’s what unites these two things.
Inspiration or discipline?
I believe that discipline can transform inspiration into something greater. So yes, I choice discipline.
CLASSIC OR EXPERIMENTAL? EXPERIMENT. I AM ALWAYS DRAWN TO DISCOVERY AND UNEXPECTED CHOICES. EXPERIMENTING ALLOWS ME TO PUSH BOUNDARIES, EXPLORE DIFFERENT SIDES OF MYSELF, AND STAY ALIVE IN THE PROCESS. CLASSICS ARE IMPORTANT, BUT TRUE ENERGY COMES WHEN YOU DARE TO GO BEYOND THEM.
