HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR PERSONAL VISUAL CODE

Above all I want my appearance to reflect my intellect. The central element of my look is my face that is where I start. I have very expressive features and active facial expressions and I prefer not to shift the focus away from that. I love emphasizing my face even more with glasses. Because of this I wear minimal jewelry and tend to choose solid fabrics and simple colors. I express my creativity and message through silhouettes that is where I go all in. I love experimenting with shoes men’s patent leather loafers pointed toes they are my must. I only wear sneakers for running.

I mostly rely on shape and texture quality tailoring neatness and fit are what matter most to me. Minimalism and restraint sharp lines I use beauty as a filter for meaning stripping away anything excessive so nothing distracts from the essence.

HOW DO YOU SEE THE CONCEPT OF FASHION AS ART

Anything can be art and anything can not be. Art is defined by context intention and innovation. I consider my presence as a dancer within the fashion industry to be a form of art. I transmit meaning aim to influence perception expand boundaries take creative risks and act in tune with the context proposed by the team behind the shoot.

WHAT UNUSUAL SHOOT CONCEPTS HAVE STAYED WITH YOU I have a wide range of on set experience. I started out in music videos at 17 and gradually moved into fashion. Over the past five years I have been through all kinds of extremes a 28 hour music video shoot a commercial suspended on wires to simulate flying a night shoot under freezing artificial rain an editorial with a giant python which I only learned about upon arrival and a footwear campaign where I had to dance in heels four sizes too small.

DO YOU ENJOY LETTING GO OF BEAUTY AND BECOMING SOMETHING MORE ABSTRACT?

\I find beauty in abstract forms. I love giving people the freedom to interpret they should decide for themselves what it means what it was supposed to be. I love making people think and challenging them.

WHEN THE POSE BECOMES ABSTRACT OR UNCONVENTIONAL WHAT GUIDES YOU MOST INSTINCT DIRECTION OR EMOTION? Curiosity. I am always seeking new forms of expression exploration is my approach.

HOW IMPORTANT IS TRUST BETWEEN YOU AND THE PHOTOGRAPHER WHEN PUSHING PHYSICAL AND CREATIVE BOUNDARIES? I do not accept a job if I do not like what the photographer does. But the thing is I have a very wide taste in visual decisions meaning I can imagine myself embodying almost any persona. Each time I do it I aim to give my best and expect the photographer to do the same while still leaving room for failure.

HOW MUCH OF WHAT HAPPENS IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA IS YOU AND HOW? MUCH IS THE PHOTOGRAPHER’S VISION

It is different each time and the result can be good regardless of the proportion. Sometimes I follow direction like with Kristina Podobed and sometimes I co direct like with Daniel Vaysberg.

WHEN DOES A SHOOT FEEL LIKE ART AND WHEN DOES IT FEEL LIKE WORK I can never define whether it is art or not until I see the final outcome. Art does not exist without context it must be edited selected placed and published wisely.

HOW DO YOU DEAL WITH WAITING AND PRESSURE WHILE KEEPING YOUR ENERGY AND INSPIRATION ALIVE I treat waiting as a space for observation and a transition between stages. I allow myself to shift focus toward whatever truly excites me. There is always something from my endless list of dreams that I can dive into and learn from.

WHAT ROLE DO MUSIC AND STREET STYLE PLAY IN SHAPING YOUR IMAGE?

Music and the way people dress around me affect how I move how I see rhythm how I compose visuals. Sound and texture always come together in my mind.

WHAT MAGAZINES BOOKS OR RESOURCES DO YOU READ FOR INSPIRATION? To be inspired I just need to step outside. The key is to pay attention and not overlook the true fashion icons on the streets like the 45 year old music teacher with a perpetual evening look and an immaculate hairstyle or the elderly homeless man layering pants with precision and integrating a tablecloth into his lifestyle. That is where I look for real beauty and experiment.

And I never forget about nature it is the original source of inspiration for everything created and it is available to anyone who wants to be moved by it.

WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO KNOW THE INDUSTRY FROM WITHIN RATHER THAN JUST BEING THE FACE OF A BRAND? Before playing any game it is best to read the instructions and watch a few rounds first.
